Intakes to Study in Griffith University

Griffith University offers multiple intakes throughout the year bifurcated into two major ones that start in March and July. Likewise, there is one minor intake starting in November. These intakes align with most programs offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ensuring students have ample options to start their preferred courses. In addition, Griffith University offers trimester intakes for certain programs, allowing for an accelerated study experience or more entry points. The Griffith University intake requirements to apply for specific programs can be checked on the university website.

For the Griffith University intake for 2025 also students are advised to check the application deadlines.

March and July are Major intakes because they generally accommodate the largest number of students, allowing the university to streamline its resources such as faculty, campus facilities, and support services. Also, it align with the international student recruitment cycle. These are the times when universities can attract the most students globally. Many international students begin their studies in these months because of timing with visa applications, flight schedules, and the completion of high school or previous qualifications.

The November intake is typically considered a minor intake because it is less common for students to begin studies at this time. This intake is often used for specific postgraduate programs, short courses, or special circumstances. Since this intake occurs after the completion of Semester 2, it’s generally smaller and offers fewer programs, giving it a "minor" status. But still at Griffith University you can find most of the programs available for Management, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce, arts etc.
