Intake

University of Glasgow intakes are segregated into high–speed intakes, air intakes, and high and high-speed intakes beyond the 3 intakes. Students can apply for different study levels and different programs as per the intakes. The university allows deferred entry for students for a limited number of courses that have to be requested by students.

This is a major intake, and all courses are available for students during this intake. There are some scholarships also available for students that are specific to this intake. Students joining in this intake can take advantage of the welcome activities to familiarize themselves with the various resources and support available to students.

• January: This intake only has a limited number of Masters courses for students to choose from. It begins in early January starting from orientation followed by the beginning of classes towards the middle of the month.

• Students need overall 60% in a 3-year undergraduate degree
• Students need overall, 55% in a 4-year undergraduate degree
• University of Glasgow accepts English language proficiency tests like IELTS, PTE and TOEFL iBT
• For IELTS: Overall score required is 6.5 with a minimum band score of 5.5
• For PTE: Overall score required is 71 with a minimum component score of 59
