Intakes

Arizona State University (ASU) offers two intakes throughout the academic year. These intakes are branched into Fall and Spring sessions. Admission Requirement

Arizona State University’s Admissions Team has structured a common eligibility requirement for most courses. The application process for ASU is simple and it can be completed using the ASU application Portal or the Common Application. The University accepts only one application at a time.


Indian students planning to study at the Arizona State University can check the admission requirements.

  • Indian students must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent. This corresponds to a score of 65% to 70% on a 10-point scale (7.0 to 7.5). 
  • Certain programs may stipulate subject-specific prerequisites, such as prior coursework in Mathematics for Engineering or Science fields.

  • IELTS: Overall band scores between 6.5 to 7.5 are accepted 
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum scores of 80 to 90 are accepted 
  • PTE Academic: Minimum scores of 60 to 65 are accepted 
  • DET: Minimum scores of 105 to 115 are accepted 

  • Applicants will have to submit a University and course-specific statement of purpose (SOP), letters of recommendation (LORs) with referee details, an updated resume & a portfolio for certain courses. 

• Indian students currently in high school must provide academic records from grades 9 to 11, while those who have completed high school must submit transcripts for grades 10 to 12.

• IELTS: Overall band scores between 6.0 to 6.5 are accepted 
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum scores of 61 to 79 are accepted 
• PTE Academic: Minimum scores of 53 to 58 are accepted 
• DET: Minimum scores of 95 to 105 are accepted

International students can apply to more than one program for a specific term. Individual applications must be submitted for each program.

Graduate credit transfers are handled individually by each program. Students can transfer up to 12 credits into a graduate program at the discretion of the program.
